Splendid Apartment, Steps Away from the Sea

Lokalita úžasná, byt veľký a čistý.

Nepáčilo sa mi že zálohu za pobyt pýtali formou externého dotazníka, kde odo mňa žiadali kompletné osobné aj bankové údaje. Nesúhlasil som s tým a zálohu som bol zaplatiť radšej osobne. Zálohu sa mi vrátila do jedného týždňa.

The apartment is nothing like the photos shown on Booking.com. The pictures were likely taken years ago or heavily edited with Photoshop. The apartment is old, dirty, and poorly maintained. We found ants not only in the kitchen and living room but also in the bedroom. This is not a climate issue, as this was our second rental in Malta, and the first apartment was fine. One of the air conditioners was broken, and it took three days to repair it. In the bedroom, the skirting board was detached from the wall. The bathroom and toilet were filthy, with a yellowed and disgusting toilet seat. Towels were dirty. The entire place felt unacceptable, especially when traveling with a small child, as we were. We reported everything to the rental company, and they sent someone to clean, but the apartment needs more than just cleaning—it needs a full renovation. I've attached pictures for proof. I like that it is close to everything I need - buses, restaurants, shops, and beach. The apartment has everything I need for a long stay- washing machine and somewhere to cook if I don’t feel Like going out.

I did like the noise that was happening outside the apartment at 7.30am- I was warned about the work going on but I didn’t not expect it to start so early in the morning for the month I stayed at the apartment.
