"I have stayed in a lot of hotels but I have never experienced cockroach in a room"

Do not stay at this hotel! On July 25, 2025, I checked into this hotel and the atmosphere was not pleasant! The staff was not friendly or professional. The carpet and furniture needed upgraded. When we got to our room the key card did not work that was a sign right there. Every time we left the room our card would demagnetize. The carpet in the hallway was dirty. Our bathroom door was dirty and worned. The pillow case on one of the bed was stained and it looked like it was dirty. And to top it off my sister was eating her dinner in our room and she saw a cockroach crawling up the wall. After being in the room for only a couple of hours we decided to checkout immediately. I asked the front desk for a refund and Mr. Brown told me he couldn’t give me one. But as soon as I checked into another hotel he charged my account. I have called and spoken with Sandra the manager on several occasions about requesting a refund because I did not receive the service I paid for an overnight stay at the hotel due to health code violation. And she has given me the runaround or some excuse every time I call. I have even requested half of my refund and I have sent her a copy of the invoice showing that we checked into another hotel and she is still giving me the runaround. Totally unacceptable and disgusted! J.J.
