Abaco Beach Resort and Boat Harbour Marina

Property was not worth the almost $400 that I spent for one night . Furniture was very old , doors were dirty absolutely no hot water and the showerhead fell off in my hand . Property definitely needs updating.

The property was beautiful, staff kind and helpful. We are devastated by the damage of Dorian pray that the Resort will recover quickly.

Overall is an ok hotel. Definitely overpriced for what it is and the overall condition of the hotel, but not many other options in that area. Floors were not dirty in comparison to other reviews. We reserved a one queen/king bed room and were put in a double bed. Not a huge deal. Internet and phone didn’t work for the first night. Then it was fixed. One of the lamps in the room was not working. Our room cards stop working the next day of our arrival, even though we were registered guests of the hotel for 3 nights. The rooms are a little walk away from hotel reception. Expensive food and drinks. A glass of milk was $US 4.80. We are fairly relax guests, but for the price and what you expect of a hotel for $321/night. It is not that.

The staff is friendly, but like everything in the Bahamas, there is no sense of urgency, and it seems like they are just "going through the motions". The sheets were clean in the rooms, but I would recommend wearing your flip flops as the floors were absolutely filthy. Feet would be black on the bottoms (yuck)! We complained and eventually they sent around a guy with a spray bottle and a sqeegy (like the kind used to clean windows)....don't think they know what lysol, hot water, and a mop are! Also, showere did not drain, was up our ankles in water (also very gross)! The views were great, pool bar nice, but for $400 a night, very disappointing. Property in general is in need of a long overdue rennovation!

This is really a fantastic property. It was relatively quiet while we were there - which we loved. The harbor area is great and you have the tiki bar right there where people docking their boats come, so its a nice social atmosphere if you want that. There are two pools and a great beach area. We had a nice dinner at the restaurant one night, but you are also walking distance from town, which had many restaurant options and we felt was very safe to walk around in. The staff was fantastic - even helped us arrange for a rental car one day. I would highly recommend staying here.

Self contained, but walking distance to downtown. Walk to Mermaid Reef for some decent snorkeling.

This is a classic 1950's old line yacht club and marina. It is priced way above its amenities and attention to top level service that you might expect with how high their rates are compared to the market rate in Abaco. Nice enough people. Great bed, but just not clean like you'd expect. One AM, after taking a shower I worked and stayed in the room until lunch. When I put my shoes on I was surprised how dirty my feet had become. It's not dirty, it's just not top dollar clean either.
