Barceló Imagine in Madrid was definitely my favourite hotel in Spain. From the moment we arrived, the hotel had such an amazing atmosphere and energy. The entire concept revolves around music, and every detail feels creative, modern and thoughtfully designed. The lobby immediately sets the tone with a beautiful piano, musical décor, artwork inspired by iconic artists and themed spaces influenced by different music genres like jazz, rock, pop and electronic music. It felt stylish, vibrant and unique without being over the top. Even the hallways and elevators carried the musical theme throughout the hotel, which made the experience feel immersive and memorable. The location was also incredibly convenient. The hotel is situated in a great area of the city with restaurants right next door and all along the street, making it easy to find somewhere to eat at any time of day. Taxis were always available directly outside the hotel, and getting around Madrid from here felt effortless. The rooms were super spacious, modern and spotless, with a beautiful shower area and all the amenities you could need. One of my favourite touches was the QR code in the shower that allowed you to play the Barceló Imagine playlist while getting ready. It was such a thoughtful, creative and unique detail that made the stay feel extra special. The hotel also has an amazing outdoor pool and bar area that was perfect for relaxing after exploring Madrid. The overall vibe of the hotel felt luxurious while still being fun, artistic and welcoming at the same time. Everything about this hotel felt carefully curated, from the décor to the music-inspired concept and overall guest experience. We absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Madrid who wants a modern hotel with personality, comfort and a unique experience.
