L5 Hotel

Elevator was not working so climbing 3 flights of stairs wasn’t ideal but all else was good.

Good place close to the airport

Clairement le meilleur logement à Chuuk. si d'extérieur L5 ne donne pas très envie, les chambres sont très propres, rénovées, avec tout le confort. Nous avons testé le restaurant du L5 et le restaurant du blue lagoon, celui du blue lagoon était limite en terme d'hygiene, je recommande donc vivement L5. Seul inconvénient, en dehors de la plongée il n'y a vraiment pas grand chose à faire sur cette ile, seul blue lagoon propose des excursions mais chères et peu attractives.

Looks a bit shady from outside but looks can be deceiving! Clean rooms, great food, excellent service and friendly staff is what i found and experienced here! Plus it's a quick walk from the airport and you are able to rent a car from here if you want to explore. The only thing I wish they had was a gift shop or store on site.

Service was excellent! Decent room and restaurant was very good as well.

Just ensure ac units are.service and maintain to keep the room cooler

The hotel was clean and relatively comfortable. The mattresses are firm, but not nearly as firm as those I have tried in other places in Chuuk. The staff were very nice, welcoming, and had a great recommendation for dinner. For some reason, two of the rooms, both on the second floor, did not have hot water. The group I was with had people in three additional rooms on the third floor, and they had no problems with hot water. It was an easy walk over to the airport, even with all our luggage. They offered a laundry service that several people used and liked. The omelet at the cafe was good.

I think that before you offer these accommodations, one of your staff should check it out. Too expensive and no service.had to ask 2 times for room to be cleaned. Next day no one came. The staff at reception and manageress were very supportive and helpful

Pros: large room, hot water in shower, good shower pressure, near airport, a few small supermarkets nearby, plus a couple of ok restaurant. A couple of reception staff and a guy that seems to do virtually any job are very good. Onsite restaurant staff are friendly and efficient. Cons: onsite restaurant closed from 2pm on Saturdays and various time during other days. On Saturday, there is the chance of a lift to other restaurants. Our cleaner was pretty awful. Missed us out completely on one day, next day the bed was only half made and towels slung at a railing (and this was in spite of the fave we tidy away everything so that cleaners don't have to do that). On the last day the cleaner start banging on the door and tried let herself at 8am, despite check out being midday and the 'do not disturb' being on the door. Location wise, if you are diving at Blue Lagoon, it's a bit to far to walk but staff will drive and pick up for 10 dollars each way. TVs in the room are just for show. Not connected to anything. Cannot even cast a phone screen to them. A member of staff suggested getting an hdmi lead and a laptop to connect (we had neither).
