Clarion Hotel By Humboldt Bay

The staff were warm and welcoming.

The design of our room was ridiculous. A 2-ft space at the foot of the bed allowed access to the bathroom area. Although there was a door on the toilet/bath room, there was no door separating the washing/makeup/dressing area from the bedroom. This would be fine if you were alone, but with 2 people. This makes it nearly impossible to not wake your partner when going to the bathroom, or if you happen to get up early and want to shower or dress. The bathtub, although it existed, was useless, as it would take an hour or more to fill it enough to bathe in. The room, although not filthy, was not up to general hotel cleaning standards. There was dust on various surfaces and the room had an odd odor. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Just the usual assortment of bland eggs, wilted sausages, cereal and tiny, weird pastries. The stay was bad enough that we will not be giving Clarion a second chance.

Front desk staff was very friendly and great with restaurant referrals.

Had a gated parking lot due to area. Hotel seemed very run down in need of some care. Room was very dark.

Hotel is very pretty staff is kind and very helpful Parking is easy and feels secure Laundry room available Amazing breakfast I was genuinely impressed with all the options Walking distance to many cute restaurants Very cozy vibe

The staff are wonderful.

Location. Comfortable. I like that there is fencing around the property.

The receptionist was very helpful on our arrival. Our rooms were very comfortable.

All staff was wonderful. Really great crew working there. Friendly, attentive and did their very best to accommodate / address concerns. It was clean too.

Loud. Room was tired. Old drawers with particle board scratched starting to lift. Bed a bit lumpy. Jacuzzi / pool not working. Loud noises and buzzing. Some of the clientele were totally sketch. Parking lot had derelict cars parked there (broken windshields, tarps and crap stuffed inside). Bath tub bottom was painted with something odd. I slept maybe 2 hours. Couldn't wait to leave.
