My main issue was the fact that there was a door in between my room and the neighboring room. When I asked the counter worker, "does that door lead to the next room?" she answered "why?" as if it wouldn't be a concern to any logical person. How can someone be expected to rest peacefully when there is literally a door that leads into the next room. When I asked of anyone was occupying the next room she answered, "I don't know". Its very difficult to have a restful night when there is a door that allows access to your room from another room.

Doors on sides weren’t always working but that was minor

The location was fine. The room was clean and made up nicely. The bed was comfortable. Nice bathroom. The grounds were clean and well maintained.

The location was fine. However, when we arrived, there were only 2nd floor rooms available. That would be fine, but the person at the front desk seemed unable to direct me to where I could fine an elevator to the 2nd floor. We found it the next morning. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. The food selection was not that great. The morning we had breakfast there, the only hot food was scrambled eggs and biscuits with gravy. However, there was only 1 biscuit in the warming table on the buffet. And they gravy looked like it had sat there for a long time, not being stirred or refreshed. My husband finally went to the buffet attendant (who was talking for quite some time with one guest) and askd her to please bring out some more biscuits. Not to be petty, but other places where we have stayed have had more options with hot food (potatoes, bacon, etc

Bed and comforters are super.

I'm retired and love to travel and I stay in hotels. This one by far exceeded all of my expectations. From the upgrade of my room to the breakfast, and staff . I also had the opportunity to use the pool and spa. It was a fabulous stay.
