The Holiday Inn express chain is so predictable so there are no surprises. Nice clean room on the proper linen, lots of charging sockets all sorts of things that you want are there. Pillars feel great bed is comfortable. Staff helpful. Go for it. Great value for money .

The bed was very comfortable and the rooms and hotel in general was very clean. I like the staff. They were very friendly. The breakfast was served everyday and there was a lot of variety and plenty of places to eat.

Our room seem to be in the process of some electrical updates and there were wires hanging out in the bathroom and in the main room as well. There were also exposed wires in the hallway. The hot tub was closed the whole time and the hot tub is one of the reasons I booked the hotel. At the very least, I felt they could have covered up the wires instead of just having them hanging down and exposed. The location was out of the city which we enjoyed, but it was close enough to get to San Francisco and cross the bridge when we needed to.

I did not notice the sign about the parking lot flooding. It rained the day & night before I had to leave for an early morning flight. At 1:45am I exited the back door in the dark to the parking area & I had to walk through at least 3 inches of water maybe more. It was dark & hard to see how deep in was. Thankfully I had on my high top waterproof hiking shoes. As I started driving around to the front I felt like the water was getting deeper & got a little nervous. I had a Nissan Kicks rental so I did have some height clearance but I can’t imagine a low car getting out of the back parking lot. Maybe parking in front of the hotel is a better option when the tide is high and it rains.
