Hi, I am gold member of Taj and I frequently visited Taj palace property. I was on the Taj club house. I am heartful thanks to all Lounge team for their wonderful hospitality. Special thanks to Taj lounge team Vikash, Vishal Vijay and Ishwin under the supervision of Vijay and Awanish. I would really appreciate the whole efforts putting by the Taj restaurant dinning team at as well specially Dinesh and Aakash for their wonderful take care. The Front office team is also excellent and Ramesh is the person who make my work very smooth. I am again appreciate to whole Taj team for their wonderful hospitality.

Dinesh, Akash , Rinku, Chef Bhaskaranand Joshi, Chef Dinesh and Khushboo were so courteous and the food so tasty that it was the best breakfast we had. I’ve travelled almost 90 countries.

**Rating: 2.5/5 Stars** Having stayed at the Taj Palace, New Delhi, previously in 2023 and having a superb experience, I returned for a stay from May 31st to June 2nd, 2026, with high expectations. Unfortunately, this visit fell significantly short of the standards I associate with the brand, resulting in the most lackluster experience I have had at a Taj property to date. Housekeeping: I would like to specifically commend the housekeeping team. They were the bright spot of my stay; they were always responsive to my requests, and the room was cleaned and maintained in a systematically cozy and welcoming manner every single time. Arrival & Check-In: Beyond the housekeeping, the experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, the process was remarkably casual and disjointed. There was no formal welcome or sense of hospitality. As a returning guest, I had to navigate to the reception on my own, as there was no staff available to guide or attend to me. The check-in process was purely transactional; I was handed my key and directed to the fifth floor with minimal instruction. Furthermore, there was no escort to my room, forcing me to wander the hallways to locate it. While the room was comfortable, the lack of professional service at the outset set a poor tone. Dining Experience: The dining experience was particularly frustrating. During dinner, I was made to wait 45 minutes for a table, despite seeing multiple vacant tables from the entrance. Once seated, the service was inconsistent. While Chef Joshi was a highlight—remarkably polite, attentive, and helpful in arranging my requests—the rest of the serving staff appeared disengaged and unwilling to assist. Basic requests required multiple follow-ups, often necessitating that I approach the chef directly. Additionally, the culinary variety was disappointing; both the dinner and breakfast menus were repetitive, with virtually no changes between the two days of my stay. Operational Issues: I encountered ongoing frustration regarding my booking inclusions, specifically the 20% discount on beverages and the complimentary signature mocktail. Due to a persistent technical or software glitch, these perks were never properly reflected on my room account. I was forced to present my booking details repeatedly to claim what was rightfully included, which felt unprofessional and burdensome. It is the hotel’s responsibility to ensure that booking details are accurately linked to a guest’s stay. Final Thoughts: While the location of the Taj Palace remains excellent, the hotel seems to be struggling to keep pace with the high volume of guests. Given that the property is consistently full, it is imperative that management increases staff quantity and elevates the level of accountability and service training. My previous stay in 2023 was wonderful, but this experience was largely unsatisfactory. Despite the excellent efforts of the housekeeping team, the dining and service issues significantly detracted from what should be a premier luxury experience. I hope management addresses these operational and service gaps.
