We searched for pet friendly hotels, Best Western was the first that came up. When we arrived with our dog they said they don’t accept pets. So we had to go elsewhere. That’s why I should not be charged. It was a miss communication.

My friend and I stayed here Monday October 6th till Sunday October 12. We stay at best western twice a year. Every six months. This visit was not exactly the best. When we checked in Monday night lady running front desk kept insisting on needing the credit card that they had on file. Even though we had paperwork signed by the card holder authorizing the hotel to charge the card. She wasn’t very friendly and didn’t pay attention. We have had this issue multiple times even though we stay here every 6 months. Been staying at best western Valparaiso for 10-12 years. Then during the stay the housekeeping staff didn’t really do best job of cleaning the room. Especially the bathroom. First couple nights were fine. Afterwards not so much. Plus housekeeping kept adjusting the temperature on the thermostat so when we got back to the room it was cold. No reason for them to touch it. Housekeeping needs to do better job cleaning the rooms especially the bathroom. I get they have multiple rooms to clean but bathroom should be cleaned at very least. There is a new hotel under construction couple blocks down from best western. Might consider staying there if it’s open or somewhere else before best western. Best western has always been our choice but maybe not in the future
