Asked for a handicap room, given a regular room. Couldn't shower for 2 days, wife couldn't leave the room because it was too far for her to walk to the vehicle.

An employee helped get the luggage to the second floor after discovering there was no elevator
There was no elevator to get to the second floor. The hotel is pet friendly, but apparently only certain rooms. The room that we selected apparently wasn't one of those rooms. It caused disruption at check-in. It would be helpful for Booking.com to not allow a room that isn't pet friendly to be selected when booking a room.
