Motel 6-Jennings, LA

The website stated there was a pool there is not. The TV was inconvenient. The remote did not work, and the staff was rude when we asked for extra towels.

Great hotel

I was good for an impromptu stop not knowing where i was during a severe thunderstorm. $40 tax. I wasn't expecting much, it was good for a few hours sleep and a mini fridge. Just needs a little TLC and a good coat of paint(and a few other things).

The room door was warped and didn’t close tight at the bottom there was about a 1 inch gap along the bottom and debris came in under the door. The shower curtain was too short and water was everywhere, almost slipped, when the water on the bottom of shoes mixed with blown in dirt - it was a mess. Outlets were like still under construction. Nothing under TV hanging on wall, paint bad. When we told the worker about the door - he said “yeah they built it with cheap doors.” Poor quality was clear.

Quiet and conveniently located close to interstate and restaurants.

ROACHES….LEFT THE PLACE EARLIER THAN WE EXPECTED

unfortunately I had a less-than-pleasant experience. Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed an off-putting smell emanating from the sheets and pillows. Despite this, I was extremely tired and decided to tough it out for the night. I called the front desk to request new pillows, and the clerk was kind enough to promptly bring them to my room. However, the issue with the smelly sheets persisted, making it difficult to get comfortable and relax. To add to the discomfort, both the refrigerator and air conditioner in the room were excessively loud. The constant noise from these appliances made it challenging to drift off to sleep, and I found myself tossing and turning throughout the night. And to top it off housekeeping was knocking on my door around 8:00 a.m. and then again around 10:30 a.m. when check out time is 11:00 a.m. Overall, my stay at this hotel was far from restful due to the smelly linens, noisy appliances, lack of quality sleep and being disrupted by housekeeping early in the morning. I would not recommend this hotel to others looking for a peaceful and comfortable night's rest.

No vending machines with food

Great hotel for a good rate. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. I was very happy with their service and the young man at the front office, Cash, was very friendly.
