Colonial Gables Oceanfront Village

This place far exceeded our expectations and I am from the area, born and raised and I was not expecting this. We were in the area for a wedding and really just needed a close place to crash. We could not get over the accommodations. My partner said the TV is bigger than ours. (We have an 87" so I'm not sure that's 100% accurate) but that's just one example. The living room is so spacious and beautiful! Even though there was only one bedroom, you could easily entertain a couple other guests with comfort. There was a back deck and a front porch. The kitchen is well stocked; even with wine glasses! The bathroom is very spacious, very clean, everything you would want, even a window which I appreciate for fresh air. There is a washer/dryer in the cottage with laundry pods for convenience. The fireplace is so beautiful and they thought of everything right down to the mints on the bed and cute "snow globe-ish lamp" in the dining area - fantastic! We are impressed and will definitely book again. Thank you for making it so easy and for all of the fine touches!

Bedroom was a little cold. Have extra blankets handy.

Good location and place to stay on drive from Portland to Bar Harbor. Was nice, peaceful stay along the water.

Booked an “ocean view”, but views were gravel drive and other cottages. Very low water pressure, and no hot (only slightly warm) water. Staff was indifferent, barely polite.

We enjoyed our stay in a cute little cottage by the water here. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful is we needed anything. The quaint little town was not far from there and had nice shops and restaurants. We plan to make this an annual trip for rest and relaxation!
