Comfort Inn & Suites Shakopee Downtown Area

I didnt like finding out that pet freindly mean dogs only when i arrived with a cat and had to rearrange plans at arrival. It should be more obvious than having to read all the amenities. Also no chairs of anykind in the pool area and having to sit on the windowsill was not pleasant

It was OK. This may sound like a little thing, but their lobby TV was 24-7 on The Young Turks show. If you're into that, fine. But it's a strongly partisan show next to the furniture area. It was annoying.

I liked the lobby and the breakfast area. Breakfast was very good! Our room was nice and clean, but because it was so hot outside, our room was musty smells from the humidity. Also, our towels wouldn’t dry because of the humidity in the room.

The good: nice location, bed was comfortable and clean, a/c worked. The not so good: very dated. The bad: the smell, oh my goodness, the smell! It smelled like stale cigarettes and loneliness. Everywhere. In the room, the hallway, the entrance, you name it. Except for the elevator, in there it was just musty smelling. The WiFi was non existent, not sure why they bother giving you a code because it never lets you connect and my Verizon signal was horrible. I had one bath towel, one bath mat, and three face cloths. Overall, it was okay for the one night I was there but I would not rush to stay here again.

Room was not clean, hotel was rundown on the outside and breakfast was not great. It worked for just a bed to sleep in to get by.

It was ok. Pretty much middle of the road… nothing fancy but comfortable. Only 2 towels and the tiny shampoo had clearly been used prior. Easy to get in and out.

At check in my family went to our room and it smelled like marijuana bad, we then went to a different room and that one smelled like wet dog. We went to room #3 and that still had a smell.

There was mold eating away at the bath tub, the sink faucet leaked all over and the bath tub leaked. The breakfast staff was irritable and snarky and could be heard complaining about the customers.
