Nice smell on entering and a friendly check in experience. Also, all of the parking valets with whom we interacted were lovely.

Tiny room with a bathroom that barely accommodated one person and no where to put toiletries, etc. Lots of noise from hallways kept us awake. No one answering the phone for room service Sunday morning. We finally called the front desk. They said they’d have room service call us but no one did. Finally (a half hour later) we called front desk again and the person we spoke too took our breakfast order. But when the food arrived (two entrees plus a croissant and drinks) we had only silverware for one, no butter or jelly for croissant (despite specifically asking for both) and no milk or sugar for tea (again, despite specifically asking for both). By that time we had to get ready to check out so we just ate with what we had. Very frustrating.

10/10 DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

The staff was very nice and the restaurant was great. It’s a safe clean area in Clayton as well. However the rooms are very very small and our tiny bathroom had beat up trim that had water damage and a faulty toilet. Most annoying was that the thermostat didn’t work - our room was at a constant 71 degrees and engineering didn’t even try to adjust it- they just said ‘all of our rooms are that temperature’ - so we sweat all night long. Not a 4 star hotel experience.

We had a great stay at Le Meridien! The kids were comfy. We loved the beds. It was clean and up-to-date.
