Holiday Inn Express Hickory - Hickory Mart by IHG

EVERYTHING! The room had great reading (thank the Gideons). The staff was helpful. EVERYTHING was clean. The breakfast was wonderful, with quality vegetarian/kosher and gluten free options with other others (so something for everyone). We enjoyed using the gym.

[There was a group of loud motor revers going up and down the road late and into the wee hours. Maybe have noise proofing windows or work with law enforcement for noise ordinances? The towels were not replenished in the gym, the bike didn't appear to work, and the lights flickered. (Little things that are likely easy fixes).]

Breakfast was exceptional!

Room was on road side and it was noisy with vehicles til after midnight.

We love staying at this hotel! Always very welcoming, clean, great AC, comfortable queen beds, hot shower and a delicious free breakfast! We stay 4-5 times a year on business.

Holiday Inn Express – Hickory, NC This was my fourth stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Hickory, NC. The hotel is conveniently located by a bunch of restaurants and stores, the check-in process was quick and efficient. The rooms are standard in size and include a mini fridge, small TV, comfortable bed, sitting area, and a desk. The hotel offers a few notable amenities, including a fitness room and complimentary breakfast each morning. The breakfast selection is one of the better spreads I’ve experienced at a Holiday Inn Express. That said, the property could benefit from some updates, particularly in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. More attention should be given to the floors, walls, and showers during housekeeping. Installing curved shower rods would also be a welcome improvement, as the current setup causes the curtain to cling while showering. On-site free parking is a great convenience, and while the hotel does not have a pool, adding one would be a valuable enhancement. Overall, despite a few areas for improvement, I’ve been satisfied with my stays and plan to return in the future.

Staff is amazing, breakfast has a nice selection of breakfast to choose from. Room was spacious and comfortable.

Needs renovation bad

The floors were dirty my feet was black there was bugs and black spiders and I got bit by bunch of little tiny ants when I got up in middle of the night they were next to the bed going in& out under the bed.The beds were very uncomfortable we want stay and this location again we have stayed at other locations and they were very clean.
