The Mason Boutique Hotel

The keypad on the door was broke, I had to wait for someone to hand me a key to use instead of just fixing the keypad battery. There is no temperature thermostat in the room, nor one accessible, so it was freezing on night, and a sauna on night two. There is no mini refrigerator in the room, so be prepared to buy a small cooler and a bag of ice. There was an ice maker in the hotel, but it was empty and turned off on day one of my stay, until I mentioned it to the lady bringing me a room key because my door was broke. You are right next to the street downtown so it is noisy with traffic, but they do provide ear plugs and noise maker machine. I had no local TV to watch it’s a firestick, but every time I tried to watch a movie, the internet kept going on and off, every few minutes all night. The room is clean and cute, but hopefully they owner looks into my comments, suggestions.

The property was absolutely immaculate and beautiful and the staff was extremely great to work with. Definitely recommend if your in the area!

Lovely place. A couple of points to help others. 1. No climate control. If you are a naturally hot person, or sleep hot, you will not be able to change the temperature in your room. A fan was provided but it didn't help. 2. Very bright street lights and noisy street. They provide eye masks and ear plugs (I saw those when I checked in and said "great"). 3. You have to have a code to get in the building and your room. No one checks you in or is even at the door. Look for an email (I didn't get one) or reach out to the hotel before to avoid standing on the street by yourself at night trying to figure out how to get in. 4. No elevator. Be prepared to carry your bags upstairs. This is very pretty. Bed was comfortable. Sheets were microfiber unfortunately. Added to my heat problem.

Could not control the air conditioning, was a little chilly.

the hotel was cute and quaint but the sink and shower had hair in it and when I realized it had hair, it was no one to contact regarding the need to get it cleaned out. I wouldn't stay there again.
