Iona Residence - Donnini Apartments

We originally booked apartment in Ayr but was moved to Prestwick because of maintenance issues. But the house we were given was excellent

Location was perfect and the view of the beach was great. We had a balcony view, even though it was cold we could sit and watch the sea with a hot drink.

I found the double bed to be uncomfortable but everything else was fab.

It was central position , close to amenities. The property was sparse but adequate .

Too many things were broken iefridge shelving , bedroom blinds , sitting room sofa etc. glassware poor in quality and inadequate supply. Overall the property had a “ tired” feel.

The location was great for the beach and surrounding area. The apartment was clean and spacious, with most things supplied for our short stay.

Maintenance is an issue. Most of the windows were very stiff or inoperable. The window in the second bedroom was stuck open because the lock had broken. Hole in the bath panel and some mould around the showers. Decking on the balcony completely rotten.

The whole layout on two floors, having 3 toilets and the lovely view over the river. Only few minutes walk to beach

Second bedroom very small but all the good things made,up for,it. Your leaflet needs updating as,didn't see recycle bags
