Whitten Inn

Spend the extra money and stay elsewhere. Our room was filthy and riddled with flies. Dirty walls and floors, door plate was loose, door jam was coming off. Not sure if the spots on the mirror were blood stains or something else. Plus point for the lights outside working making the parking spots well lit. Since we prepaid we couldn't get a refund.

the room was not clean - what looked to me like dried blood was on the floor. Since my friend who is legally blind could not see it, I did not bring it to her attention. We were tired and wanted to get home (this was our last night on our trip). The refrigerator smelled bad. There was not even one chair in the room so, to put on our shoes we had to sit on the bed. no closet to hang up clothes, no luggage holder,

The walls in the restroom needed to be cleaned! The floors were a bit dirty as well, needed to be mopped. Couldn't walk around barefoot.

Friendly staff, accommodating for 3 small dogs, location-close to eatery's and highway.

Name on building says Motel 6 but reserved on bookings under Whitten Inn, a bit confusing when finding the property-luckily Google had us at the right location. Cleanliness of the room, grass area that was suspected to be the pet relief area was sketchy, random car parked on the grass area all night was sketchy, and tv wasn't easy to get working.

This place was great! Room was very clean, the ac, fridge and microwave worked perfectly. Beds were comfortable, was within 5 minutes of the water park and right down the street from an awesome playground for the kids! No bugs at all either. Much cheaper than other hotels in the area.

This review is from the perspective of booking a hotel at the value end of the scale. I think this is a wonderful hotel on the value end of hotel rooms. When booking this hotel, understand it is positioned at the value end of the market, not the ultra-high luxury end. I found the room clean, ready for my occupancy, working AC (already cooling the room upon my arrival) and having hot showers. The staff was great and checked me in promptly. The area was quiet and I had a good nights sleep. For what I paid for the room, it exceed my expectations.

There really was nothing I did not like. Visitors my not like breakfast not being served, but understand you are booking a value hotel and recognize the price you are paying. If breakfast is needed, there is a McDonalds across the parking lot. The hotel is undergoing improvement renovations. I expect it to continue to deliver value going forward.
