Super 8 by Wyndham Gettysburg

The room was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was a bit limited, but I personally had no problem with that. The staff was friendly, especially the lady who checked us in. I didn't catch her name, but she worked afternoon shift on Friday, April 10.

The lobby area did seems a bit outdated.

It was ok, but fixable! It would be great to have some cold water out for us, like many other hotels provide. Vending is not a good option for water. For vending, Coke Zero would have been nice for those of us who cut back on sugar. Breakfast waffles were good, but there is no protein in sight. No sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, or the like. Even some cold boiled eggs would have been very welcome. The outside light near the pool behind room #112 is a problem to shut out of our room. The hard metal chairs in the room are really bad. It's nice to watch TV without sitting on the bed.

Angie, the front desk lady was above ND beyond. She represents what customer service means. Don't loose her.

No elevator. Limits some people i.e. me, disabled veteran. Unable to get to 2nd floor easily. Fortunate they had a Disabled access room the next morning. I hobbled up to 2nd floor that night on arrival to at least sleep. That's where Angie came in, and made sure we had one the next morning for the weekend. Great job Ang!
