Holiday Inn Express Meadville (I-79 Exit 147a) by IHG

We have stayed here before. Great to know there is a clean, modern and recently renovated hotel. Staff are very nice, good amenities, appreciated that they had some gf options for breakfast.

It’s easy to recommend this hotel. It’s very clean, comfortable, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. We had a very spacious one bedroom suite for an extended stay in Meadville. It was quiet & spotless, the bed and bath linens were high quality, and the ventilation worked perfectly in the August heat. My IHG Platinum status was recognized and I was able to get a late checkout due to an evening flight from Pittsburgh. I’ve stayed here a few times now and have been very pleased each time.

Our family has made its way up and around the east coast this summer, and have stayed at a variety of different hotels-mainly IHG stays. This hotel was far and away our favorite. The room and common areas were clean and updated, staff was all friendly and helpful, and our room had a mini-fridge, microwave, and plenty of outlets/USBs. However, what put this hotel in a category above the others for us were all the little things it, and its staff had to offer. When checking in, the employee offered ideas of things to do in the area with our kids-complete with photos and websites. She then told us about the complimentary snacks in the lobby-popcorn, cookies, and ice cream at various parts of the evening. We were out of the room during the day, and had our do not disturb sign on (we didn’t need our room cleaned that day), and found the attached note under our door upon return. So nice to know the cleaning staff recognized they weren’t able to clean and wanted us to know we had options if we needed anything. Prior to our stay, I read a review that had issue with the friendliness of the staff. The hotel must have gone through some major changes since then, because customer service and comfort of stay are clearly at the top of everyone’s priority at this hotel!

AC right next to the bed made it very cold. Lots of banging and mechanical noise during the night. Got no sleep at all.
