Holiday Inn Express Philadelphia-Midtown by IHG

Very good location for visiting Philly; also on-site parking is very easy to access, in and out privileges and reasonable price compared to most. Rooms basic but comfortable; good breakfast, and good coffee in dining area.

have stayed here multiple times because good location and easy parking; this time hotel did not seem as clean, especially our room upon the first day - hopefully just a fluke; rooms facing the street, very noisy at night, at least on the weekends

The parking situation is a little inconvenient.

The location is perfect for getting around Philly. The rooms are good, the beds comfortable. The staff is wonderful. From front of house to housekeeping, and food and beverage, they are kind, courteous and helpful. What I found off-putting was the location of the front door under a dark canopy right next to the huge carpark entrance. And in the evening you have to walk along the car park entrance to get to the side door as they close the front door at 6pm. That short distance leaves a guest exposed to unwanted attention. There is security Staff who are essential in this area of Philly. This hotel was chosen for its offering of free breakfast. The food was of poor quality and choice. The coffee, however, was excellent.

Tyler at the service desk was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Not many services available in the hotel during the winter months.
