Clean and comfortable

Older property. Was really sketchy- woke up to beer cans in the back of my truck and beer poured down my trailer. Front desk agent informed me at check in at 11pm at night that the security cameras didn’t work. Definitely won’t stay here again.

Great affordable stay close to CCU. Gentleman who checked us in late was friendly and awesome. Room was clean and comfortable. Bath had some bad caulking/rust/etc but was still clean.

Stayed 3 nights for son's graduation at Coastal Carolina University. It's very close to campus. We have stayed here numerous times over the last 4 years. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Rooms are always clean. Beds are either 1 king or 2 queen, which is great, since many hotels only have doubles. Breakfast is included, but I don't prefer their hot food, so my husband just grabs a coffee. The Coastal Ale House is across the parking lot. Great food. Some things in the bathroom could use an upgrade, but not enough to not stay there. If you want fancy, go somewhere else. If you want a clean room and great price, this place is perfect.

We didnt stay as they cancelled our reservation without notifying us which Im glad. This place stunk and the pictures dont show what the pace is really like.

The shower curtain is too short for the height of the rod. Bathroom floor gets soaked. No exhaust fan in bathroom means it VERY steamy and wet. Other than than our stay was fine

The room was old and used. The door to the hotel did not lock and anybody can enter the back door right by where our room was. The pool was never open, which is one of the main reasons why we went there. Very disappointed in everything the only decent thing was the morning breakfast

When we first arrived, the entrance was untidy. After checking in and getting to our room, we received a call from the front desk saying we might have been given a room that was already occupied. They later confirmed it was fine. When we entered the room, it smelled odd, but we dropped off our bags and left. Returning around 11 PM, we noticed a towel on the counter above the fridge and a strong odor like pet urine. The carpet made our socks black, and I developed a rash from the bedding. There were only two clean towels under the sink, a used towel on the tub, and an open soap wrapper—making us question if the room had been cleaned at all. The pool, listed in the description, was locked and empty. While getting ready for breakfast, housekeeping walked in as we were dressing. Due to the condition of the room and lack of cleanliness, we decided to find another hotel. I spoke to the front desk, explained everything, and was told to return the key for a refund. Since I booked through a third party, I was advised to contact them, but was told the hotel would issue a refund. I checked out and received a receipt showing the refund. However, Hotels.com later informed me that the hotel refused the refund. Despite multiple calls and messages, I haven’t heard back from the hotel manager.

The checkin experience was great. Forest was very nice and helpful. The room I had was alsi very nice except the upper lock on my room door was broken. Also, the extwrior door to the building could not be licjed si anyone could come in to the building freely.
