Marriott's Heritage Club

Located a short walk from the lighthouse which makes for a nice walk in the morning. Most days I spot dolphins close to shore! This is a timeshare property. 2 bedroom , 2 bath ( each with jetted tub) The property is very well maintained & they are quick to answer any questions or concerns that should arise. We attended the wine & cheese tasting and trivia afternoon. It was fun 😊

I am planning on staying here on your next trip down in the fall. We have walked through the building and grounds a number of times and always made to feel welcome. You can See the harbor with no problem. Everything in Harbor Town is with in walking distance. Gorgeous sunsets!!

Great place. Free golf! Convenient to all Sea Pines attractions and the beach! Across the street from our favorite restaurant, CQ's. We had a view of the lighthouse and the sound from our room. Fireplace for a January visit was a nice touch!

It was like a brand new condo! Very clean and luxurious. Would definitely stay there again.

This was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at! The rooms were huge and the check in process was amazing. The woman at the front desk was so sweet. Recommended the best restaurant and also give us a bottle of 🍷 to congratulate us on our marriage. Will definitely visit this place again

This property is well maintained and is in a great location. We were extremely satisfied with our accomodations and would return in a heart beat. The 10am checkout is the only negative. Lots of recreational and dining options in the immediate vicinity. Hilton Head is a great destination.

So other than this place being hard to find, it is very nice. It’s a vacation club, not a hotel, so no big lobby and onsite resturant,, but the grounds are well equipped with pools, grills, gazebo and such. Check-in after dark is via another local Marriott property, which is a bit inconvenient. No daily maid service although supplies for everything are in the room. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2.5 half bath unit that was great. Don’t remember seeing a size but I’d guess 1100-1200 Sq Ft. nice living room, dining room, decent sized kitchen, and balcony over looking the common pool area. Mater and 2nd bedrooms were very roomy. as much so as most homes. Beds were fairly firm, but pillows were too soft/understaffed and didn’t sleep well. Walls were a little light on insulation as it was relatively easy to hear neighbors on either side or above. But not that different than most hotel rooms The only other minor negative comment was the WiFi throughout. I always got a connection but sometimes the requests didn’t seem to be getting out. A couple of speed tests and pings indeed confirmed some speed issues. Unclear if they were their internal network or their ISP so not taking negative marks for this Overall I would definitely come here again, all things considered a great location

Just returned from a very short hurricane shortened visit to HHI. We try to avoid Hilton Head in September because although the weather is awesome and the crowds are diminished, this is prime hurricane season. Fortunately, we live close but that also means if HHI is evacuating, we're in the same situation at home. Not good. This wasn't a choice we made purposely but a situation thrust upon us by an unscrupulous Marriott sales associate. Beware Marriott sales associates! But this is not a review of Marriott scruples but of this facility we've frequented on several occasions. We first visited this facility 20 years ago and it's located a stones throw from Harbor Town and the the golf club. The club is literally across the street. The resort has been nicely updated and is in tip top shape. It has a nice private pool with two hot tubs and nice lounge chairs. The decorating upgrades have been done very well and I enjoy the art work they've retained that shows the iconic lighthouse and heritage tournament. It would have been nice to have removed the old dated whirlpool in the master and made a nicer shower but that's nitpicking. The only negative to this small resort is it doesn't have the amenities of Marriott's larger facilities, there's no covered parking and it's not convenient to beaches. The biggest complaint would be the awkward ramp used to access the elevator for moving in and out. They really need to buy new carts to make this less cumbersome. If you're a golfer and like the Harbor Town location, this is a great choice for you. The bike trails in this area are also very nice. I'm sure we'll be back and hopefully not during a hurricane.

The Heritage is so lovely. The office staff was helpful and friendly. The grounds were very clean. The location lends itself to peacefulness. The Heritage is close to the light house and restaurants. The tours offered were fun and we enjoyed the HHI & Gullah tour that we attended.

Spacious two bedroom units with two larger than full size beds in the second bedroom; surprisingly roomy kitchen area. Quiet, small pool area but it wasn’t crowded so it worked for us. Hot tubs seemed to be out of commission for repair but that was not a problem for us. I think we had a golf package included but no one in our group golfs so did not take advantage. Walkable (or bikable) to Harbor Town which has restaurants, shops, and children’s play area. Recommend walking (or biking) here as parking spaces can be difficult to find when busy. Sea Pines entry is now $8 but resort does give you a pass to go in and out without additional payment. If you are looking for a nice, quiet resort and are OK with no direct beach access, this is the place. Highly recommend. Only downside, checking in after hours. No 24-hour front desk coverage. You must check in at Monarch resort and then backtrack to Heritage.
