Hampton Inn Newport News-Yorktown

The room was clean and comfortable and close to army base Eustis.

They only gave us 2 towels when we reserved for 4 people. They didn’t have staff on that could bring us more. We needed to go to the front desk to get more. The large bottle of shower gel was empty and only realized when I was in shower. When I went out to the front desk, they told me I was lucky that they had a small one in the back they thought they were out and I would need to wait till housekeeping came in two hours after I needed it I made a mistake and I didn’t bring my toothbrush or toothpaste. They had no disposables like most hotels and they had nothing in their store. The front desk told me that they don’t keep them since they put in store so at 4 o’clock in the morning I had to go out looking for a toothbrush. I know it was my fault but most hotels would have helped me with the same situation.

We were in town to drop of our niece to college. The staff was amazing and so sweet to our whole family. My 15 month son loved waving hi to everyone and pushing the button for the elevator. Our room was spacious, clean and relatively safe for our little kiddo. We will stay here again when visiting our niece at college.

I am never disappointed with Hampton Inn properties. The staff was very friendly and the rooms are always clean. A great location is always a plus.

Overall a great hotel the whole family enjoyed. Can't say enough nice things about the staff like Liza, Lorna and all the others. Pool was nice, beds were comfortable, room and all area observed were clean

Enjoyed the staff, cleanliness, and housekeeping great. Parking was extremely dark at night daughter and wife did not like.

Traveled with two small kids. The best location to stay if your visiting Jamestown, Yorktown and Colonial Williamsburg. Easy access to higway. Gas station and krogers within the walking distance, as well as other shops/restaurants. Hotel & room are clean, breakfast is excellent. 10/10

I loved the staff; the breakfast was very good on Monday when they had bacon. The parking was good and near lots of eateries.

I didn't like how thin the walls where I could hear everything going on next door in the other room children were running around in the hallway making all kinds of noises late at night.

Excellent and clean. Close to the airport.
