Courtyard by Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront-South

I liked having an ocean front view. The bed squeaked a bit, but the pillows were very nice. Things must have changed because the room was cleaned every other day, which was the day I was leaving.

I wish a breakfast was included, but it wasn't. and I wish there was free coffee downstairs, but otherwise everything else was okay.

Noisy air conditioning

Fantastic view of the ocean from the 9th floor. Dolphins, boats, boardwalk below. Spacious suite was very comfortable and clean, 2 balconies.

Elevator issues. My husband and I both use canes, so the idea that elevators (one or both) were not working properly could have caused real problems for us. Thankfully, we only went out once each day, and even though others had to use stairs, we caught a working elevator each time.

Not much...the view was good.

The room was not like the website depicted, the sofa bed was like sleeping on rocks, the linen for that bed smelled very musty and there were large cockroaches in the bathroom. Won't stay there again. ,
