Days Inn by Wyndham Fairmont

The breakfast bar consisted of a four-compartment waffle iron, waffle mix, and syrup where guests can make their own waffles. There were Chewy granola and soft peanut butter /chocolate and Nature Valley oat bars. Bananas and apples were served in a bowl alongside Activia yogurt sitting in an ice bath/bowl. Two prepared juice drinks of apple and some type of orange drink that was not juice. Coffee served in a pump-style dispenser, tea, vanilla, and unflavored coffee creamers, regular, sugar/sugar substitute. It would be nice to offer some type of sugar-free syrup and or milk and a peanut butter packet for some type of protein. Acceptable diabetic breakfast was limited as most establishments tend to leave reduced items off the table due to possible costs. I will not be back as I am tired of these types of omissions. This was not a horrible breakfast, but it was a carbohydrate dump for a diabetic person to navigate.

I travel with insulin. The freezer in the room was totally blocked with ice, and the freezer door would not close. I worried that my insulin may freeze or not be able to be maintained at an acceptable temperature sitting in the small refrigerator. I ended up turning off the small refrigerator/freezer combo, left the door open, and placed a bath towel underneath the freezer compartment to catch the water by draping the towel into the garbage can to ensure that nothing was soaked by the process. I was able to use the freezer and the refrigerator the next day and store my insulin properly. The shower head was partially covered in mold, and I had to clean that off to ensure that the mold did not fall off while showering. The same had to be said for the sink handles as they too had mold around the bottom of the handles. These too had to be cleaned. The bar lock on the door did not work correctly as the holding bracket located on the door was not secured by the bolts and was just placed on the door giving the "appearance" of being secured, however was not usable. I did not feel safe due to this, and this item needs to be repaired. However, the deadbolt on the handle did work. $250 DOLLAR DOG DEPOSIT. I kept my 12lb dog in his crate during my visit.

The front desk guy Mr. Manohar was exceptionally courteous and welcoming at all times even late night. The breakfast was always refilled to top up limits. Will stop there again on our long drive from Toronto to South Carolina

One of the loudest hotels I have ever stayed at! It sounded like the surrounding traffic was coming right through the room!!! Did not get much sleep at all!

It’s a little weird getting to the hotel but otherwise it’s fine. It’s a Days Inn. Perfect acceptable for what I needed. Our room was clean check in was easy and the parking lot was well lit.

Owners were friendly. Online check in made the process faster. Location is fine. In the middle of a shopping area.

You get what you pay for. Overall pretty clean but very dusty. The floorboards had a visual layer of dust. One of the pillows even had dust or dirt on it. There were plenty of other pillow so not a huge deal but still didn’t feel clean enough.

The hotel was filthy, the lobby the parking lot and the room itself. I’m pretty sure I saw drug use in the parking lot. We could not even consider staying there. I was told that my fee was non refundable despite the fact that I purchased insurance. It is completely unreasonable that I can’t get a full refund.

My family arrived and found the property unacceptable for us. We did not stay and found other accommodations. We would like a refund on this stay.we later called the hotel and made them aware that we would not be staying there.

Nice clean room with new carpet. Used GPS and was at WAL-MART in 4 minutes. Will stay again.
