Hotel Azteca Inn

The hotel itself is very average, but it's a good budget choice in the area. It has the benefit of being a bit away from the most hectic areas of town, where sleeping might be difficult due to all the noise.

The room was great, clean and the staff was excellent. I love the fact that this is a very convenient location.

Location and service were great!

Furniture was old and damaged (desk, chair, sink, etc.).

Good Value for the price

The Azteca Inn is located in the Golden Zone (Zona Dorada) of Mazatlan and is close to all major restaurants and the beach. It has a neat bar that is very well-known among gringos of Mazatlan, and a pool, and a parking lot which is really convenient if you travel by car. The room is small but has everything you need. The furniture is a bit old, and the bathroom requires some attention and remodeling. Other than that - not too bad for a motel.

The room was 111 by the pool and backed on to a main road it was loud from cars and music from a club until 3:330 am. Didn't sleep at all.

the room location, asked the front staff where to get ice and was told to get it from the bar which they gave me a half of a glass and then went back for more and was told that was the last of free ice.
