Iris Hotel Cape Cod

location was fine, staff was helpful

there was no hot water. also, the first morning the breakfast was inadequate. No eggs, bacon, cereal, fruit. The next day the breakfast was fine.

The location of this property was perfect. This is a nice resort with good rooms , on site parking, nice architecture and good views.

It is very unfortunate to see that such a good hotel was run unprofessional and with neglect. Out of the three nights we stayed at this hotel, there was no breakfast on two of the mornings. There was only one staff to attend the breakfast on the first morning, and he was not able to fill resupply the buffet on timely manner. On the day of our departure, we went to pick up some coffee and bakery at 9 am. There was no breakfast, no bakery and no cup to pour the coffee. I went to the front desk to inform the staff, he said he is the only one on duty and he was assigned to cover both breakfast and front desk. A hotel can't give such excuse to the guests and try to make it normal that no breakfast was served even after charging to the guests. We were very disappointed at the attitude of the front desk staff and appearance. The Housekeeping staff on the other hand were excellent. They kept the rooms very neat and tidy.

Great location, beach is so close along with stores, restaurants.

Great location, warm & efficient staff, a nice continental breakfast. Very comfy beds and pillows.

I don’t know if it was the shower curtain, but the bathroom floor was covered with water after we finished our showers.
