"Great hotel (and somewhat grand) a 3 minute walk from Bourbon Street"

A good location a stone's throw away from Canal Street and the French Quarter. My room was a good size and comfortable. The hotel entrance and reception area is rather grand. I stayed over Christmas and was touched by my stocking full of goodies which was on my bed when I arrived. Staff were friendly too and the bar downstairs is lovely

It's a shame that the hotel does not offer breakfast

"This is our go to hotel in New Orleans."

I canโ€™t tell you what trip this is for us to stay at the international House Hotel. Weโ€™ve been coming here since 2012. We will not stay anywhere in New Orleans except for the international House Hotel. The vibe is exquisite. I love the fact that my husband and I can come and feel like adults with no children. This boutique hotel is the best place to stay in New Orleans. Hands-down. It is sexy and chic And it always smells amazing. This time we stayed in the Metropolitan Suite and it did not disappoint. Looking forward to our next stay in the next 10 months.

"The LOA team is the heart of the house"

The rooms are fine, the Banksy pieces are really cool, and the general quirky vibe is much appreciated - but it is the people at the LOA bar, not the physical amenities, that leave the best lasting memories. In a world of corporate, cookie-cutter, micro-managed options, IH stands apart because of them. Their mixology skills are world-class, and their personalities, empathy, wit, and personalized service truly stand out. When picking a hotel, Iโ€™ll happily walk a little extra distance to the convention center in the winter if it means I can just take the elevator down to interact with Abigail, Aline and the rest of the LOA team. They are the heart of the house, IMO.

"Terrible business practices and mismanagement of booking information."

The location is wonderful. Hotel was clean, quiet, and pleasant.

The property does not disclose on booking.com that there is a $15 daily fee for amenities such as internet, water, coffee and fitness. They also tell you the $60 deposit is refundable. It is not. They take the amenity fees from your deposit even if you donโ€™t use the water or coffee internet. Itโ€™s obscene.
