Lovely hotel, great staff and a good location. Would definitely come back.

The hotel was lovely. A really good location, close to the city centre. I really like the gym and pool facilities. An early swim each day was a must.?

При заезде было очень много пыли на полках, не было тапочек. Информации об удобствах мало, ресепшн и персонал реагирует на просьбы очень медленно, можно ждать несколько дней если не напоминать.

Thank you to booking.com I had my confirmation for the exact room type I booked by name, description and photos. Yet, at check-in I was handed a key to a different tower ( a clear red flag) than the one my reserved room was in. I asked, is this the room I booked? At this point, not before, front desk guy confessed - no, your room isn’t ready. So I said I’d take a look and if it’s equivalent to the one I booked I will take it. But it wasn’t. Not even close. A clear down grade. So I returned to the front desk and was told my room would be ready in 4 hours. I return. Was given another wrong room. Same down grade. At this point I said either give me the room I booked and paid for or refund me. I finally got the room. As booked, it was a fresh renovated room with floor to ceiling views of the Charles river - not the dark tired smaller bad view rooms they kept trying to down grade me to. The next day I noticed on booking that they change the description in these lesser rooms to match the same description of the skyline renovated room I booked. Which will make it much easier to bait and switch the next guests who aren’t as demanding as me. I am a delta diamond medallion traveler. Meaning, I travel a lot and happy to pay for quality. I used to often stay at sonesta hotels around the world. It was a trusted brand. My daughter staid in a sonesta suites in Dallas recently that was horrific. Dirty, loud, sketchy. Wow. The brand has fallen hard. What a shame.
