Pur AC didn't work and wasn't cold. It was 81⁰ in our room all night even after telling the manager

Friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet location and very convenient to the interstate.

Covered the 3 C's nicely - clean, convenient & comfortable. Little extras like 24 hot coffee (a good blend). free afternoon cookies and popcorn were a nice touch. Bed was particularly comfy w nice neck supportive pillows. Breakfast hot food selection was mostly a winner with egg & sausage selections as well as sausage gravy w biscuits. Surprised no oatmeal packets were available amongst the cereal & continental options. Definitely a good choice mid-price hotel just off the 35 highway and nearby the Mardi Gras casino.

Would be a “5” rating but the check in person, Brittany, ruined it. Brittany lied and went out of her way to make things difficult. I booked my KING room weeks before my arrival. While Checking in Brittany acted ‘nice’ but was not sincere. She has a ‘fake friendly’ going on. Voice sounds friendly but actions (face and body language) say differently. She wasn’t as nice to me and hubby as she was to the person before us. We don’t know why as nothing happened during check in. Checked in and went to the room to find two double beds. Called front desk stating I booked a King and Brittany informed me she had no Kings available - even though I booked a King weeks ago, I asked, and she said yes. Why didn’t Brittany tell me this at check in? Brittany pushed that the room she gave me was two QUEENS. Nope. I asked her the price of the room she said $165 same as the King. I told her I wasn’t going to pay the price of a King for two doubles. I said I’d call back, giving me time to decide if we’re staying or not. I looked online and the current cost of two doubles was $134.00, $150.08 with taxes. I called Brittany and told her I found two dbls online for $134 plus tax. At this point her answers were confusing, and she wouldn’t answer my questions straight out so I asked her point blank, what is the cost of the room she gave me with tax, total, out the door…. She said $147.6something. Doing quick math in my head the amount seemed inline with the $134.00 before tax. So we stayed. The next morning a bill was put under my door for $165.6something. At checkout I had to go through the hassle of having Mare redo the bill after explaining the events with Brittany. Mare fixed my charges to be total $150.08. Mare was very nice as she fixed Brittany’s issue. I truly believe Brittany lied and charged me the higher amount knowing she wouldn’t be there in the morning to deal with it. As for the hotel, it’s nice, it’s clean and was very convenient off of the expressway. Normally I would stay again, but Brittany put an end to that.

The location was great the facility was very clean I was very satisfied with my room and the overall experience. I would book again.
