The Miners Club

The space is beautiful. The swimming pool and hot tub exceptional.

My problem with this property is the parking. There was no information given about the lack of parking on the website or our rental documents. We rented a 4 bedroom apartment for 12 people. When we arrived, we were told we could only have one parking pot per room. Really? 12 people in one car? They did relent and give us another parking site for $40/night. But, we had three cars and I literally spent 2 hours trying to find a parking space in a town with aggressive parking laws. The desk attendant gave us an address for a parking garage that was at least a half mile away from the property, which we never found. They also had us put our garbage in the hall, which I thought would be picked up quickly, but 2 bags of kitchen garbage stayed in the hall for 24 hours.

Decent place to stay. Staff was very friendly and there were plenty of activities to do to pass the time. Beds and linens were clean and comfortable. Down side was you could tell this was a room most likely set aside for those not memebers of the vacation club. Chairs had little rips in seating and shower in one bathroom would not work.

We were given a smaller room than what I had reserved. The lack of cleanliness and wear and tear were very noticeable in the room this time. Water was leaking everywhere in the parking garage and it’s really tight parking in there.

Needs new mattress. They are shot.

Great place!

Our suite was spacious but very outdated and dingy. The master bedroom was hot and never really cooled down. Instead of replacing the old tile and grout flooring they just splashed some ultra high gloss sealant over it, which looks and feels gross. The hallways are dark and creepy, per my three-year-old. We did enjoy the pool at the Wyndham resort next door, since the Miners club was having theirs resurfaced. Overall the stay was fine, but I don't think we'll be back.

a bit further from the downtown than I imagined, but not a problem since parking and garage access were easy.
