Candlewood Suites Rockford by IHG

Thank you for offering glass dishes and not plastic. Most US hotels waste so much plastic, but at least Candlewood still knows how to wash dishes! An Eco thumbs up.

Hotel was clean and staff was great!

This hotel uses fragrance generators in hallways and the front lobby. These fragrances are a health risk to asthmatics and individuals with immune sensitivities to artificial fragrances. It is time for Expedia and hotel chains to recognize the health risk caused for air fresheners, cleaning agents, and odor masking agents. Even fabric softeners and cleaning agents contain these unhealthy chemicals.

We're here on an extended stay and every single day this place does not let us down. Very neat and clean rooms. Very appealing and welcoming lobby. On site laundry room is always neat and clean. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Very close to places to get food and clothing items. It's very quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Good efforts at cleaning rooms and hallways. But the overall feel is one of being in an old and dated place.

This was a nice place. Clean and close to highway. Some restaurants are within walking distance too. Room was comfortable and staff was polite . check in was quick and easy. Would stay their again if in that area.

Was looking for a solid place to stay without having to spend tons of money. Stayed 3 nights and it was fine. Was very impressed that room came with fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Whenever I've stayed at expensive hotels I've always wondered why they didn't have microwaves or fridges like lower priced options. Bed was comfortable and AC was great during the 90 degree days. My single issue is that there was a weird smell in the room. Place was a little updated so I'm assuming it was coming from the carpet which has likely gotten a lot of use. Outside of this I enjoyed my stay. great central location for getting to entertainment.
