Days Inn by Wyndham Burns

Staff was pleasant, but rooms are run down and dirty. Paint is bad and floors are extremely dirty. I am not sure about bed linens. I paid $165 for a room for one night which was twice as much as they have should charged. Only one light in the bedroom area (no overhead, one very small bed table lamp. . Refrigerator did not work. Common ares are dirty and run down. Breakfast was poor (nothing hot, no fruit, and dirty facilities). I am surprised at the Expedia good reviews. I am learning to not trust Expedia reviews. Days Inn should be ashamed to promote this property.

Worst Hotel we have stayed in. No black out curtains. We were killing weird moth like bugs at 1 a.m. There were dead bugs on the floor when we checked in. Not sure the room had been checked before our actual arrival. If I could give a negative star review I would.

Wasn’t clean. No coffee in the morning. WiFi didn’t work!

The staff was nice and helpful. However, excuses were made instead of apologies when obvious flaws negatively affected my stay: 1. The air conditioner was too high for me to reach and 85 in the room -staff said the room was old and so it had no remote; 2. there were huge, flying insects all over my room and the hotel - Staff said, "There are bugs in the desert (shrug)". 3. Although he told me the room he gave me was "brand new", the bathroom floor had muddy shoe prints and the walls were bare sheet rock with no paint. 4. The refrigerator whined high pitch all night and the microwave would not open. 5. Booking this hotel with hotels.com gave me no option to search for or choose a handicap or downstairs room. 6. There was so little parking, my only choice given was half mile away (cant do - I am disabled), or the janitors spot so close to a fence and a ladder and items, I was worried about fitting in and out. Staff said he could move his car, and I could take his spot, but then witbout talking to me again, he went inside and didnt help or move at all. 7. There were no available plugs for phone charging on bed. I had to plug it in 5 feet away by unplugging a lamp. 8. Also, electric old, so you cant use the hair dryer or the bathroom plugs while running the ac, and they left a note (paraphrasing): "dont do it or blow the breakers in building. " 9.heard others rated a 6, but it was not. Should have been a 3 at most. One good : the bed was clean/comfy enough.

After checking in, we arrived to our room and the door was wide open. Our room was not clean…even to my teenage son’s standards! The hotel was occupied by many men who were making sexual comments to me. The room also did not have a dead bolt. Due to this, I left!!! Drive another 3 hours and paid for another hotel. The pictures are no where near the reality of this hotel. I was so scared I left having a panic attack and failed to take pictures because my priority was getting my family out safely!!

We chose this hotel because it had a pool, but the pool was quite cold and had yellow blogs floating on it so we didn't swim. After the kids took baths, dried, walked to the beds, their feet were filthy, so we rewashed their feet with the same result. I washed the floor, but it never really got clean. It needed to be mopped. Bedding and towels were clean.

Grounds and room very dirty. My socks became dark just from walking from bed to bathroom and back. Took moist wash cloth to wipe the top of headboard as it was dusty. No soap or shampoo

Update needed. The desk clerk was new.

Probably my worst hotel experience ever. We got there at 8:55 pm and were told that our room was not ready due to a late checkout and being behind in housekeeping. At almost 9:00PM !!!! That's not behind. That's incompetent management. We waited over 30 minute, while they - theoretically - were cleaning the room. When we went in, there were coins, plastic tags and leaves on the floor right by the door. The floor felt gritty. There were dirty boot prints in the bathroom. There were no towels. There was half-eaten food in the fridge. Another sign that they hadn't done anything even resembling housekeeping. I went to housekeeping and said, "There are no towels in 117, could I get some?" The guy who had done our housekeeping said, "Well, we are really behind today." That's not what I asked. I got towels, but the guy was giving me such an attitude that I didn't even bring up the dirty floors. I took a shower and walked, barefoot, to my bed and the bottoms of my feet were black with dirt. Disgusting. But, it was late and we were exhausted. In the morning, I went to the office and complained. They said, "We were really behind yesterday." OK, now you've said that to me 3 times, without saying, We're sorry or What can I do to make it better. So, worst hotel and worst customer service experience.
