Air condition in my room wasn't working properly, making some weird noise, Someone from reception come to my room around 9 PM and close it completely. I asked if someone can check next day, no feedback given the day after, around 10 PM when I check it, it was still not working, when I asked they said either nobody check it or they couldn't fix it. I was expecting that feedback given to me when I come back or with a note offering changing room.

The whole place was very clean and that’s where it ends! Unfortunately 😕 The Mercure ( previously the Accor) is attached to Blacktown Workers Club. The food, beer, and service there is fantastic. That I DO recommend.

The toilet wouldn’t flush properly. Even after 2 or 3 flushes, there would always be toilet paper in the bottom of the bowl. The main room lights stopped working the 2nd night. We had to use the bedside lights. The fridge froze our milk so having a nice cup of tea when we got back from our function late at night, didn’t happen! The whole entire building has only ONE elevator to service 3 levels of rooms. It’s old, rattly and slow as a snail. It’s states maximum 10 people but there was 4 people with luggage in the elevator and no way would there be room for another person with or without luggage. The ‘included breakfast’ was tasteless and appeared to be left overs from the Blacktown Workers Club menu. The main service desk manager is void of any personality!

Comfortable bed. Clean room. Lots of parking. Good buffet breakfast.

I loved the view from our room and how close it was to where we had dinner

There was a noise in our room that kept me awake coming from the drain in the bathroom

The bed was fairly comfortable

The hotel is dated and tired. Numerous cracked tiles in the entrance. Cracked tiles in the bathroom and mould showing through the clear sealer around the shower. Breakfast was inedible and cold. Won't stay there again.
