No Jacuzzi and no GYM! they say it is clear on their website but we missed it twice and according to the hotel manager- it is the customer responsibility to ask! please ask! so this is my review after expressing it also to the hotel management : 1. Service Indifference at Check-in: Upon arrival, despite recent surgery and explicit need for assistance, your staff at the entrance refused to help with our luggage or allocate a parking space, claiming it was fully occupied. We were forced to park several times in paid zones, far from the hotel. 2. Misrepresentation of Facilities: Before our arrival, we were assured by your reception representative that the hotel had a heated pool. Regrettably, the pool was cold. Additionally, both the jacuzzi and the fitness center, which we were looking forward to using, have not been operational for several months, a fact we were not made aware of until our arrival. 3. Poor Maintenance and Hygiene: The spa area, especially the salt pool, was in a state of disrepair with constant clogs in the showers used by guests after the salt treatments, rendering them dirty and blocked. 4. Disappointment with Hotel Meals: The evening meals were highly disappointing; the food was either undercooked, overcooked, bland, and lacked seasoning. It was evident that there was no significant effort from the hotel’s chef in preparing the meals. 5. Mismanagement of Alternative Arrangements: When directed to the Leonardo Club due to the non-operational jacuzzi, we encountered further humiliation. The guards there rudely dismissed us, stating we were not their responsibility and advised us to go to Leonardo Plaza instead. 6. Confusion and Inconsistent Information: On one occasion, despite previously bringing a floating pillow that does not take up any space and cannot be considered a mattress, I was incorrectly informed by a staff member who could not read Hebrew that bringing mattresses was prohibited – a mistake that led to me being escorted out by security personnel, adding to our distress. Additionally, it is concerning that none of the staff at the salt pool was attentive to the guests inside the pool, neither acting as lifeguards nor as maintenance personnel, which is critical given the ongoing issue with clogged showers. The accumulation of these issues not only caused significant inconvenience but also indicated a serious decline in service quality, facility maintenance, and overall guest management at your hotel.

We had a great experience. The stuff was kind and the access to the beach was phenomenal.

Everything was great except when we arrived we had to pay 400 nis for taxes and we didn’t know about it when we booked our hotel

Cute room with semi private pool. The private beach was nice. Food was good. Highlight was the sulfar pool. Did have an extra fee of 60nis though. 4 electric car chargers on premesis. Beautifully redone in the lobby.

The staff at Herods ( Dead Sea Israel) were the true stars of the show. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism. Receptionist was very thoughtful and helpful.housekeeping was attentive to request.They truly went above and beyond to make my stay feel personalized and special.

Easy access to the public beach which was very nice. Orange juice at breakfast was excellent.
