SpringHill Suites by Marriott Freeport Brunswick

The location was very close to many restaurants, shopping and the highway.

Check in was at 3. We arrived at 4:30 and our room wasn't ready after waiting for someone to show up at the desk for 15 minutes. The clerk told us one more hour. We returned just before 6 and our room still was not ready. We weren't able to get into our room until well after 7. Unacceptable. The room was fine, but the carpet had reddish stains all over it.

The room was nice and clean, two queen beds comfortable, sofa in sitting area, the buffet breakfast served was excellent. great place to stay highly recommend.

The staff was friendly.

First room had broken heater, second room had very creaky floors above. Stay on the 3rd floor. Hot coffee all day was cold.

The room and lobby were mostly very clean. My suite was very quiet and the bed very comfortable. The hot breakfast food was excellent (but the fruit looked very bad).

The bathroom was very cold - no heat inside, door wouldn't stay open to allow heat in from the bedroom. TVs in the hotel all have programming guides that don't work at all due to useless software the hotel added. Some channels listed don't broadcast. Room was very clean but the coffee maker and microwave were very dirty. Pictured armchair was missing, furniture wasn't comfortable except for the bed. Evening clerk couldn't help and made serious mistakes jeopardizing my stay. Morning clerk was helpful.
