Shower needed non-slip strips, corners of bed were dangerous, tv had no instructions for operation, & the hvac needed attention

"The hotel stay was disappointing and inconvenient with difficult and unsafe access."

Staff was nice and friendly. Fridge was large to support larger drinks and dairy products.

First, the access to the hotel was changed which requires you to cross heavy traffic with no traffic light to assist. Parking lot was icy, no microwave in the room which we had to use the lobby microwave. No one emptied the trash in the room, The shower floor felt like you would fall thru the floor. Breakfast was some coffee, some toast, oatmeal and danishes.

We needed to cancel one of the rooms but I wasn't able to becasue 1. I couldn't find a direct phone number to the hotel. ( it wasn't on the confirmation email sheet.) and 2. they said becasue I booked through 'Booking.com' I wouldn't get a refund. There was no microwave in the room, nor even a paper cup at the bathroom sink. We found some in the lobby at the breakfast area. The heater/airconditioner was EXTREMELY loud so I ended up turning it off during the night. Staff was wonderfully pleasant.
