"Tel aviv experience"

One of the best experience I ever had in a hotel, especially in Israel best service Specially zehavit and they really took care of me and let me feel like I’m at home The rooms are always clean and very big. I will really recommend this hotel for sure.

"Why we choose the David"

The David - Delivers Outstanding Service Again- My daughter was invited for a second time to present at the ARC Summit conference which is affiliated with Sheba Hospital and is held in this hotel- she invited me- her mother to accompany her. As a veteran health professional , I feel compelled to write this review.It was our second annual visit for this purpose and we both only wanted to stay at the David and here is why, We were welcomed at the entry by a porter, Kief who recognized us from the year before and broke out into a warm smile and immediately helped us with our luggage after our ten hour flight. We then checked in and were greeted by Arnon, who is the manager of the front desk and he too welcomed us back like extended family. Arnon is the consummate professional and so very warm and gracious . On check out , I told him that he and his very devoted team made our stay unforgettable. From Leah who helped with great reservations from an impossibly busy restaurant to Zara to Ilya ,they were always gracious and uber helpful as he was. The dining room - well my daughter and I fantasized about the sumptuous morning brunches and the very special Sabbath feast from the year before and we can say this dining experience was a highlight of our trip. Under the leadership of Kevin, who provides service that is understated elegance and both warm and welcoming and gracious at the same time. This was especially my daughter’s moment in the day to relax and enjoy. His team with Martine, who is absoloutely delightful and manages all the waiters and waitresses to Kseniia as the maître d to Michal who made sure we had our morning lattes - on their beautiful deck overlooking the sea - and sitting down and enjoying a plate of our favs from Bourekas to polenta, from olives to pine nuts, from smoked salmon to herring ,from beet salad to tomatoes marinated with soft cheese to cream cheese to sour cream, every kind of bread , olives ,fruit - it was magical experience as is the Sabbath dinner. Late at night as my daughter prepared her work for the next day the beverage manager , Daniel would take wonderful care of us. We also treated ourselves to a massage which we both had by Timor - he also gets a 15 out 10- a top notch professional and Mira who helped make our stay at this beautiful spa - extra special. It takes a very cohesive professional team to deliver this level of outstanding services., It is no wonder that The Sheba hospital holds its international ARC Summit conference at this hotel. Finally , we loved waking up daily to a view of the stunning Mediterranean.

"DISAPPOINTING SUPERVISION BY MANAGEMENT PART 2"

We stayed for 2 nights towards the end of August. We like the hotel a lot but we do not appreciate the poor overall management. The fridge in the room was at room temperature. we discovered this when the drinks that we put in the fridge the previous night were not cold the following morning. I complained to one of the managers who flippantly stated that it was not a fridge but a minibar. We have stayed at this hotel many times before and know that this is a fridge. Later in the day it had been fixed. It was never a minibar as the hotel never placed any drinks there. As the weather was very hot, a functioning fridge was essential. This very same problem occurred on our previous stay. One would expect that a decent management would ensure that the same problem did not happen to a guest twice in a row!! The door to the cupboard enclosing the fridge was loose; some of the screws fell out. As a Platinum Elite member, complimentary gifts are supposed to be delivered to the room. They were not. On a previous stay the very same thing happened. When I complained to one of the managers he said the omission was human error. For the same thing to happen twice in a row is not human error but , to put it bluntly, gross mismanagement.. On a large illuminated screen in the foyer and entrance to the hotel was advertised thaton that evening there would be music playing at a set time in the lounge area; there was not. The reader of this review should read this together with my review of this hotel in May 2025 under the same title. Together, or even individually, these reviews clearly indicate that the management of this prestigious quality hotel is not performing as would be expected of a hotel with such a reputation.After complaining to IHG, the international management company responsible for the Intercontinental brand, they instructed the managers of the hotel to communicate with me on 3 separate occasions to send me a compensatory apology, which they had promised me at checkout, The hotel failed to make contact even after they had been instructed to do so. Many different aspects of the hotel are excellent such as the lobby lounge which is very spacious. The breakfasts are, in my opinion, the best in the country. It is a great pity for the hotel and for the brand that the management does not perform as it should. I have been a guest at this hotel many times; in the distant past, problems like these would have been resolved swiftly and amicably and not allowed to fester unresolved for weeks by sheer neglect. I strongly feel that the management needs training in quality guest relations like it used to be. While the reader of this review might consider these problems to be trivial, in a hotel that charges a top price for a top service there should not be any cause for complaint at all, never mind the same problems being repeated. \
