"Wonderful place for an off-season stay at the seaside"

Great location -- overlooking a little harbor in a small fishing town. We were there in the winter, but had good luck with sunny weather and enjoyed exploring the village. We chanced on the annual Shimenawa ceremony at the Anori-jinga shrine, which brought many of residents of the town together. The house itself is very comfortable, with an open living room and a nice upstairs sleeping space with comfy futons. Fabulous deep tub, with a view. It felt wonderful to have a whole cabin to ourselves. We had a hard time finding the address, but the hosts (although not on site) were extremely quick to help us via Booking messages.

Our only complaint was that the kitchen is minimal and has no counter space. There is a generous outdoor BBQ with prep and sink area, which would have been great in the summer but too cold to use when we were there.
