Die ruhige Lage in einer Sackgasse und die Nähe zur Millroad wo es gute und preiswerte Essensmöglichkeiten aus aller Welt gibt. Der Fussweg dauert etwa 20 bis 30 Minuten ins historische Zentrum. Allerdings war das Hotel über das Navigationssystem nicht zu finden da erst vor kurzem Poller, zur Verhinderung der Durchfahrt, gesetzt wurden. Die Umleitung wurde nicht beschrieben.

Das Zimmer im Dachgeschoss war sehr winzig. Der Zugang über eine schmale Treppe mit dem schweren Koffer ist eine Herausforderung. Der Vermieter hat uns aber geholfen.

This place is well located, only about 2 miles from the center of Cambridge, and about 1/2 mile from the bus stop. It is in a residential area, so the location is very quiet and peaceful.

The room and bathroom were not clean, and in disrepair. The bedside table was filthy, the room was dusty, the bathroom had mold in the shower, and there appeared to be blood on both the ceiling and floor. The sink drain was closed shut and had to be pulled out for drainage. Furthermore, since the owner was away, the woman who checked us in and out, was both disinterested and unfamiliar with providing directions or recommendations for eateries in the immediate area.

About 35 min walk to Cambridge University centre along Mill Road, a relaxing walk in spring. Lots of good restaurants along Mill Road.

Warm and kindly host took care of my last minute booking, exceeding my expectations across the board- good location, cozy room, spotlessly clean, and excellent value for money. Excellent find in Cambridge, with convenient driveway parking and walking distance to the shops.
