Parkview Guesthouse

The room was a good size, very clean and the beds were comfortable. The area is very quiet and the guest house is close to a bus stop. We actually walked to the city centre which took us approximately half an hour.

There's no air conditioning so the room was pretty warm but there was a fan in the room.

Lovely staff and clean room. I loved having a little fridge. Excellent location. Easy bus route to town centre and could be walked too. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Easy to park, too.

Very friendly and very clean. Ideal for what was needed. Not flash but nor is the price!!

A touch dated but everything works fine

Parkview Guesthouse is located in a quiet residential area, a short walking distance (5-10 min) from bus stops connecting to Cambridge city centre. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, well furnished and serviced daily. I can recommend it to other solo travellers to Cambridge for work or short stays.

Clean and quiet.

Overall my impressions were very favourable. I was greeted warmly by a lady, presumably one of the owners and shown into the room, which was quite spacious for a single, with more than adequate supplies of tea and coffee. There was also a fridge which was very handy give the hot weather at the time.

I thought the shower was rather small. I’m not the biggest person so anyone fairly sizeable would struggle a little to manoeuvre themselves once in there. The Parkview is not near the City centre in Cambridge but it does lie just off Mill Road which has a rich array of pubs, shops and eating places.

Comfy double room for two, quiet neighborhood and lovely, welcoming owners! Easy to walk and reach the center. Small and reasonably priced cafes and supermarkets on the nearby Mill Road.

The small shower room may be a bit of a challenge for tall people.
