Velvet Coaster Apartments

Steve and Pauline were brilliant hosts. Tha apartments are nice and cosy and we had a great nights sleep. Will definitely be returning thank you so much!

The location is perfect and close to seafront never used car during stay as everything you could need is so close! The water stayed hot the pressure was great, Host friendly and informative for the money we paid it was perfect.

The apartment was clean and had all the basics we needed to cater for ourselves for a couple of days. It was in a great location (although only 5 minutes walk from South Pier, it was still in a nice, quiet place - so we found it very peaceful and cosy, particularly at night time). Parking was available at the back (although you have to arrange with Steve in advance as it can be limited). Last but by no means least, Steve and Pauline who manage the properties were very friendly and helpful, and were very quick to respond to any questions I had before and during our stay. It was fantastic value for money and we will definitely stay again!

One thing that was missing was a bathroom door to the en-suite (it didn’t bother us though as you could close the bedroom door when you wanted to use the bathroom). I saw on other reviews the Steve and Pauline have recently taken over the running of the properties, so I’m sure that they’ll address this over time.

Steve and Pauline were exceptional hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was spotlessly clean and close to the south shore. We managed to book parking, which was great. We will definitely be back !
