DoubleTree by Hilton Irvine Spectrum

Good location, great food at the restaurant and customer service at the restaurant was great. The check in was rough. Only in person was helping someone at the desk and another person was on the phone. Neither one even acknowledged us even though the one helping in person was waiting for the customer checking in to find their card in their bag. She looked annoyed and like she didn’t want to be there. Finally the girl that was on the phone finished up and helped us. She was nice and friendly once we were helped. I was traveling alone with my two kids so sitting there waiting for 5 minutes wasn’t a great way to start the stay.

I have stayed here before and everything was great, I slept well and no problems. This time the beds were so hard and uncomfortable. My daughter and I both were sore in the morning. The bathroom light also didn’t work properly. It would turn on just fine and then the next time not work. I got sick of it so kept it on the rest of our stay to not deal with it. The toilet also kept running so we had to keep jiggling the handle. The person down the hall had a little yappy dog that would bark once an hour, every hour until we finally were able to sleep. And there was also someone playing loud music on a floor under us. It was disappointing because the first time we stayed there it had been close to perfect. It makes me weary to try again, especially since this isn’t a cheap hotel.

This doubletree is probably the best one I’ve ever stayed at due to its cleanliness, 24 hour store, and most importantly, its excellent employees. Denise, Jasmine, and Gilbert all went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.

I had the pleasure at staying at Doubletree Hilton Irvine Spectrum for a business trip and truly had a wonderful experience and stay! The staff here is incredibly kind and helpful. Maggie at the front desk helped answer any questions and made check out very easy. Gilbert was an exceptional waiter every morning and breakfast as well. He was kind and personable! As well as the other wait staff. I got a coffee at the coffee shop every morning from Jasmine who was also very sweet. Thanks again for a wonderful trip and what a great staff you have! Riley M

The staff was incredible and the room was very comfortable

I thought it was ridiculous that they made you pay $35 for parking and the cocktails in the lobby being $20- $22 each was crazy and made us not eat at the restaurant.

Denise was absolutely amazing to work with. I had specific requests and she did everything im her power to meet the requests. She communicated clearly and followed up when needed. The hotel was clean and made the stay great. A large part of our great experience was due to Denise!!
