Kasumai Beach Resort

Reception made me wait for 45min calling his manager to confirm my booking, he was arguing with me unnecessarily when asked why making me wait for longtime.

I’m been to many places in The Gambia but this happened to be my favourite hotel for so many reasons, there only one thing missing but I’ll get to this later. Firstly I’ve stayed in many places in The Gambia over the years as my wife from The Gambia. From Seaview Gardens Hotel,Balafon Beach Resort to kololi Beach Resort lemon Creek hotel to Coco Ocean Resort and spa with is very beautiful and very elegant, But Kasumai Beach Resort had more of a vibe about it, my room was the family suite, partial ocean view everything about this room was perfect, from the bathroom I’ve traveled to many different countries around the world but this bathroom stood out, from the spacious shower I just loved the design very elegant the whole bathroom was it put many rooms the shame in American and the Uk, who ever design this room was 100% thinking about there guests the design was very modern. The room was so comfortable I didn’t want to leave it wish I booked this place first before the other three hotels I booked before. This was my wedding anniversary week. The balcony was a bit small though didn’t feel to comfortable out there. I loved the television facing the bed, would be nice if the was another television so you could watch the Tv from the sofa and while cooking but everything else was perfect. The room was designed like a studio flat. I also loved the Negative artwork amazing felt like I was in an African artwork studio I took many pictures. The beach area simply had the best vibes good music and atmosphere. I prefer it to Kotu Beach on Palma Rima Road, breakfast was good also, the only thing I wish this hotel took card, and there was more shops around and a cash point machine as I had to go all the way to Senegambia when I wanted money. But this will definitely be my first stop next time I’m back in The Gambia.

Very relaxing and comfortable. Nice atmosphere, close to the ocean. Very clean rooms and nice. Highly recommended. Great room service
