"Excellent stay"

I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The hotel was clean, the room was very clean, and the customer service was excellent. We were only there for a one-day trip for a procedure, but we were very glad that we selected this hotel to stay at. Housekeeping was very friendly and helpful. They also did a great job of keeping the room clean! I have to pay a compliment to your front desk associate, Jessica. She was very friendly and helpful to us. Check-in was excellent. Her customer service skills are wonderful - and one of the reasons why we will be back whenever we visit the Tampa area! This hotel was also VERY conveniently located off I-75, and had several dining and shopping options nearby. Thank you, La Quinta!

Pet friendly hotel is fine for guests with pets, however, the barking dogs made this stay an unpleasant one. The addition of a youth baseball team who were guests, but conducted themselves as though they were outside did not help. On a positive note, the breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of choices. Hotel is in great location. I will not stay at this hotel again if in Tampa or any other area as far as I’m concerned.

OMMG!! Pool AREA definitely needs a REMODEL (asap), Shower heads need upgrades - water pressure is low to sprinkle, washing machine was out of order from check-in to check-out 5 days!!

Overall, we liked this facility. Room was clean and pillow-top bed was comfy, breakfast was great with eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, etc. Staff was friendly and competent. There were some negatives, however. We were in Room 115, and the bathroom fan didn't work, which can be a problem in a small space. The dog-walking area is small, filled with tree roots, and runs along a swampy, wooded area and in between lines of rental vehicles. It didn't feel very safe, particularly in the evening.
