MainStay Suites Tampa Moffitt-USF

The facility appears to be very old. The carpets in the room and common areas are damaged and dirty. My bathroom sink faucet barely worked and when the service person came who had to keep hitting the top of the faucet to get more water to flow through it. I ended up using bottled water to brush my teeth and wash my face.

The staff are absolutely outstanding! Friendly, efficient, helpful, and supportive. I will most definitely give a 5 star review. The apartment like room was such a relief and much needed after having to evacuate my home due to hurricane Milton. I felt safe and comfortable during the stress of the unknown affects of the hurricane. Thank you to Jennifer she is an absolute angel.

I can’t believe this hotel is belong to Marriott chain! We had to change our room two times First room smells sick moldy and you can see the mold on the curtains The second room the tv wasn’t working Thank God the staff was so helpful I definitely not going back and don’t recommend!

Absolute worst Marriott property I've ever seen. The lobby was not clean and smelled like smoke, as did the person checking me in. The building he sent me to had two doors, and the one nearest my room didn't work. I walked down a dark walkway to the other door and walked back thru the building to the elevator. It was dim and smelled awful. When I got to my room, it smelled awful. The carpet was dirty, the TV didn't work, the curtains were hanging askew, the bed linens did not look clean, and the windows were unlocked. I could hear the people in the next room arguing, and it was so loud that it was as if they were in my room. I checked out immediately and told the staff member I didn't feel safe and that the property was not clean. He seemed very surprised, but I can't imagine he has not been told this before. He did not offer any refund or any apology of any kind. I have contacted Marriott about this experience.

We left, the bathroom was not handicapped accessible. I even called to confirm before arriving.

Hotel Staff is not at all Co-operative. Manager do not believe in reciprocation even multiple reminder. I would not recommend this hotel given my experience. I have stayed with family, with 2 young kids.
