Farmington Inn

Stayed here for 2 nights. For the price, don't arrive expecting a great deal for the room, without also sacrificing quality, cleanliness, and service. Works for a super cheap and basic spot to crash and get a hot shower. If you are willing to tolerate the general run-down and shoddy atmosphere. The advertised amenities, (such as a pool & continental breakfast) were not available. The sheets & towels appeared clean, though they had stains on them. Queen bed had the feel of sleeping on a thinly cushioned cardboard box. Carpet and cushioned chairs in the room were grubby. Water damage on the bathroom walls between the toilet & tub. This property was a former Travelodge, made obvious by one of the signs poorly covered with spray paint. The room had a clean, working microwave and mini-fridge. It also had a small flat screen television. I was pleasantly surprised that the room got refreshed during the day, after the first night. Clean towels, new soaps, & fresh coffee pouches/cups were provided, and the bed was made. There was a definite factor of seediness emanating from the property, and some of the guests. To illustrate this vague feeling of unease: we did not leave anything of value in our room when we left for the day, and did not leave anything of value in our car at night. I would not stay here again.

Horrible experience with customer service. The front clerk was so rude I felt discriminated... My daughter and I stayed 2days @ Farmington Inn on the third morning I decided to stay another day since daughter had an accident and received 12stitches. I ask the front desk clerk if I could possibly take breakfast to my daughter who had a hard time moving around due to her accident, with no hesitation her reply was "NO!" As I proceeded to make cash payment for the third day she advised me since I made a credit card payment for the first two days, I wasn't able to pay with cash. If I paid with cash she would have to move me to the third floor. The clerk knew my daughter's situation, and had no sympathy.

I called to inform them I would be arriving late , that person was ok to deal with upon arriving after a 32hr drive it turns out my reservation was incorrect They had me in a single bed smoking room when I made my reservation I wanted a double bed NON smokiing the lady that night was VERY Rude and instead of trying to work with me came right out and said and I quote (you should pay more attention when making a reservation) this is not something a employee should say to a guest so she went and put my sister and I in a Single bed Non smoking CLOSET the room was that small. In the Morning I went downstairs for some Breakfast and see about another room the only thing out for Breakfast was a few Mini Muffins. The young lady behind the counter was very polite and courteous and was more than helpful in getting us into a double NON smoking room at 9AM go figure the Older RUDE Lady behind the counter the night before could have put us in there but I guess she decided that being rude and crude was acceptable. we went from room 203 the closet to room 207 which was better. The security latch was missing and someone loved smoking cigarettes outside that room as we found several cigarette butts outside every morning. To say that this Hotel was a big disappointment would be a understatement, this place was recommended by a friend in Aztec. Expedia has this place as a 2.9 should be Minus2.9 the only Bright spot here was the young lady behind the counter on April 12. E. Potter.....

Probably one of the worst hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in extremely dirty phone was missing the cord power rack was ripped off the wall no toilet paper when I got in the room strange smell. I had just driven 16 hours and was too exhausted to switch rooms but I guess you can’t complain for 50 bucks

Always greeted and treated respectfully, this is truly my home away from home.

Ok if you don't expect much. They had one washcloth for 2 people, no conditioner,no hair dryer when website stated there was. The safe didn't work and neither did the coffee maker. To add to it, the staff allowed a truck driver with a flatbed to take up most of the parking spaces on our side of the building when there was clearly truck parking available. I won't stay here again.

The breakfast items ran out Saturday and on Sunday there was next to nothing when i went to eat.

I told managment that the chairs are unsafe as the the arms come off and they wobble and not really safe to sit on.

The ice machine was hideously filthy! Had personal hygiene products and other trash in the ice grate. On the other hand the staff was very helpful and kind. We left an article behind after check out and were a hundred miles away before it was noticed and the manager has made arrangements to mail it to my home. That's service! And that's valuable. The location was convenient and our room was adequate.

The first room we were assigned smelled terrible. Second room was better but not by much. Pillows were lumpy. The young girl at the front desk was not much help with restaurant recommendations.
