Knights Inn Brenham

It was a cheap hotel ill give it that. It only cost me $50/night so I knew it wouldnt be high society. When i showed my wife photos she said "Thats Methed Up" funny, but true. I found a bag of tobacco in the night stand. Smelled bad, wasnt clean. Every piece of furniture was what most people would put on the side of the road with a sign that says free and nobody would pick it up. This isnt a place where people stay if they have the choice. Its a place to survive hard times. Im not above staying in cheap hotels, but this is the worst I have stayed yet. I didnt feel safe either. No smoke detector surprise surprise and sketchy electricity. Pretty rude front desk person but im sure she is jaded from all the rif raf and complaints. Poor thing

Sink was backed up and half filled with what looked like vomit and water. I reported it and they said they would call maintenance. I returned 4 hours later to find the door wide open, the sink still full of filthy water and plumbing on the floor. On the Northside parking were about 10 men drinking and urinating on the walls behind cars. Further up closer to the office it appeared to be criminal activties happening with what looked like long time residents. I turned in the key and ended up sleeping in my car at a truckstop.

Very dirty. Asked for remote. Front desk lady was extremely rude. Mirrors were dirty. Remote was under covers which meant sheets were not changed. Place was a shit hole

Friendly staff and convenient location. Also a comfortable bed. Plus, TV channels easy to figure out. Didn't have to decipher gobs of different channels to fund something to watch while still having plenty to choose from.

Some rooms need a little maintenance. Not a real fancy place, but didn't expect that. However, it's quite cozy and comfortable. Nice location.
